See our full profile here. All donations to The Freedom Project over $2 are tax-deductible.
Prior to 2018, we were registered solely under the legal name ‘The Trustee for The Freedom Project’ (ABN 37 220 593 382). Our previous Annual Information Statements and Financial Reports can be viewed here.

India Impact Story

A young woman trafficked from Bangladesh is repatriated to her family.
This young woman was lured to Bangalore with false hopes of work and an opportunity to support her parents. She was sold to traffickers. Bangalore police received a call regarding a girl’s loud screams coming from a particular house. When rescued by police, she was put into a government home and here The Freedom Project India took action to get her back home. Our team were instrumental in procuring documents from the family that enabled the police to finally repatriate her to her family. This heartbreaking story is shared by many girls enslaved in Indian brothels.
