Terms and Conditions
The Freedom Project respects your privacy. We protect your personal details and do not pass them on to any third party, except where necessary to those who are working for The Freedom Project, including CRM software assistants, financial accountants, etc. Any information we collect is for the sole purpose of The Freedom Project’s record keeping and correspondence with supporters such as responding to enquiries, managing web store orders or by sending updates on our work in Australia and around the world (if you are subscribed). People can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us or clicking the unsubscribe link in our campaign emails. We have put systems in place to ensure the protection of personal information.
Our website uses security encrypted response forms when personal and financial details are required, including subscriptions, enquiry forms and web store purchases. We use industry standard 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. You can see an https URL and/or a padlock to the left of the URL in your browser address bar.
All donations are processed in AUD are allocated generally to where most needed. This helps us fulfil our commitments to both operational costs and project commitments. Upon request, funds may be able to be allocated to a specific region of our project work. All donations over AU$2 are tax deductible. We will automatically issue you with a receipt via email for each gift unless you specify otherwise.
Direct Debit Service Agreement
By submitting the online payment form or a hard copy giving form you are authorising The Freedom Project to deduct your nominated account (Credit Card or Bank Account) according to the amount and frequency as selected on the form. Any changes in this agreement requested by you or by us must be confirmed in writing with reasonable notice given. Your donations are processed by Westpac PayWay.
We will only arrange for funds to be debited from your account as authorised in the submitted form. If the debit day falls on a non-banking day, we will debit your account the following banking day. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary funds in your nominated account. The Freedom Project is not responsible for any fees incurred due to insufficient funds in your nominated account. If you believe there has been an error in debiting your account, please notify us immediately so that we can resolve it quickly. All your information is kept confidential and we endeavour to ensure there is no inappropriate use of your information. We will only use your information to the extent required by law, or for the purposes of this agreement.
Shipping & Postage Policy
Once orders are confirmed, products will be shipped to you through Australia Post within 5 business days (within Australia only). Postage costs are AU$7.50 per item, plus AU$2 extra for every additional item. If for any reason an item is unavailable or we are unable to ship to you within 5 business days, we will notify you by email.
We apologise that we cannot accept refunds for incorrect sizes or change of mind, unless the product was faulty. We are happy to exchange a t-shirt for another size/style if it is available and if the customer sends back the product in original condition and pays the additional postage costs.
